Diarrhea is the second leading cause of death in children under five, claiming over half a million young lives every year. What’s even more heartbreaking? Most of these deaths are preventable with access to safe drinking water, adequate sanitation, and proper handwashing with soap.​

At Enterogermina, improving children’s gut health and combating diarrhea is at the core of our mission. That’s why we’re taking action with purpose-driven initiatives across 16 countries. By partnering with non-profits like Save the Children, Health Oriented Preventive Education (HOPE), and Glasswing International, we aim to make a tangible, lasting difference.​

How we got here

1958

Enterogermina burst onto the scene in Milan, Italy, in its glass minibottles format.​

1988

Enter "Blow-Fill-Seal" technology, swapping that glass for polyethylene.

2002

Enterogermina’s 2 Billion vials were

Enterogermina relocated its production from Milan to the town of Origgio in northern Italy.
