Our packaging is fully FSC-certified, using virgin paper for product boxes and 100% recycled paper for shipping. We're advancing sustainability by removing leaflets and transitioning to smart packaging with QR codes.​

Our Packaging Sustainability Journey​

Aligned with our sustainability pledge, we aim to reduce reliance on petroleum-based plastic in our mini bottles:​

Shift to 100% bio-based, sugarcane-derived plastic by 2027​

Offsetting Plastic Impact​

Our mini bottles, made from 100% recyclable LDPE plastic, are currently not recycled due to their small size. To mitigate this, we partner with organizations like Plastic Bank in the Philippines and EU Reciclo in Brazil to offset more than twice our annual plastic production. While offsetting is a short-term solution, we’re actively working toward a long-term recycling approach.​

Offsetting Highlights:​

Philippines: In 2024, we prevented 27.5 million bottles (63,226 kg of plastic) from entering the ocean.​

Our Manufacturing​

We’re reducing our carbon footprint at Sanofi Consumer Healthcare manufacturing sites, with a commitment to cut CO₂ emissions by 50% by 2025. This goal will be achieved through green electricity, ending cogeneration, and ongoing energy optimization.
